Overview
Deep in the heart of the American South, tensions lurk among the hot and humid hills. Native to Arkansas, Hillbilly Cubensis is a highly potent member of the Cubensis mushroom family. It is comparable to other members of this family, such as the Golden Teachers and the Amazons. This strain can now be found growing naturally on 5 other continents. Hillbillys have a typical Cubensis appearance, their hats are smaller and shallow with a distinct orange color throughout. The Hillbilly stem is slightly smaller in diameter than the cap, starting thicker at the top of the stem near the cap and tapering down closer to the base of the mushroom.
This sponge is a great all-around sponge for beginners and intermediate shroomers.
Experience
People who use Hillbilly shrooms experience an intense euphoria and visual experience. Like all psilocybin mushrooms, Hillbilly Cubensis can send the user on a powerful psychedelic trip. These trips usually start in 30-60 minutes with fairly benign bouts of yawning, often followed by big smiles and fits of laughter. Peak effects occur after about an hour and can last up to six more hours. Some users may experience changes in how they perceive time, as well as visual hallucinations.
